The Misses Johnson that the notice refers to were Molly, Dorothy, Vera and Irene, at the famous pie shop (and parched peas) next door to the Market Inn. Mr. T. Johnson was Sergeant Tommy Johnson of the Preston Borough Police Force, and brother of Molly.
